Ambassador Lisa Hellmer
Lisa Hellmer joined IRH in 2022. Let’s hear why she made that choice.
IRH welcomes Lisa Hellmer as an Ambassador for International Riding Helmets!
Lisa works with adult amateurs, juniors/young riders, and para equestrians. Safety is and has always been her #1 priority for herself and her students. As a survivor of a serious head injury, and concussions along the way, Lisa understands the importance of exceptional safety equipment. When looking for that “glass slipper” of a helmet, Lisa tried our XLT helmet and was so impressed with how comfortable and stylish they were that she reached out to inquire about partnering with us as a brand ambassador. We welcomed her to the family with open arms and look forward to supporting her and her team at LH Dressage in Ocala Fl.
US Equestrian has recently announced that Lisa had been appointed the new Para Dressage Development Coach as part of the U.S. Para Dressage Program.
Lisa is a USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold medal dressage trainer running LCH Equestrian in Ocala, Florida. She is a Silver USEF Para Dressage Coach, and was most recently named the Para Dressage Development Coach for Team USA.
Lisa trains horses from the ground up through Grand Prix, shows throughout the east coast, and has a variety of types of students. She works with adult amateurs, juniors/young riders, and para equestrians. Safety is and has always been Lisa's number one priority for herself and her students. As a survivor of a serious head injury, and concussions along the way, Lisa understands the importance of exceptional safety equipment.
"I was looking to partner with a helmet company. Fit, comfort and of course as a dressage rider, style, are all very important. I tried one of the IRH XLT helmets for the first time last year and was so impressed with how comfortable they were! It gets really hot here in Florida and I train full time. I found IRH helmets to be cool, comfortable, breathable and yet did not feel flimsy and were solid on my head. I love working with companies that have the same priorities as me."
